Some aspects of non-additive measures
2015 IEEE 13th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY), 2015It is a well known fact that non-additive measures, i.e., monotone set functions, and corresponding integrals have been successfully applied in many different areas, both theoretical and practical. Due to the course of research, this problem has diversified into two directions.

Cooperative Game as Non-Additive Measure
2014This chapter surveys cooperative game theory as an important application based on non-additive measures. In ordinary cooperative game theory, it is implicitly assumed that all coalitions of N can be formed; however, this is in general not the case. Let us elaborate on this, and distinguish several cases: 1) Some coalitions may not be meaningful.

Stochastic approximation with non-additive measurement noise
Journal of Applied Probability, 1998The Robbins–Monro algorithm with randomly varying truncations for measurements with non-additive noise is considered. Assuming that the function under observation is locally Lipschitz-continuous in its first argument and that the noise is a φ-mixing process, strong consistency of the estimate is shown.

On Lusin’s Theorem for Non-additive Measure
2011In this paper, we prove Lusin’s theorem remains valid for nonadditive Borel measure under the conditions of weakly null additivity, continuity from above and a certain additional continuity.

On the Visualization of Discrete Non-additive Measures
2017Non-additive measures generalize additive measures, and have been utilized in several applications. They are used to represent different types of uncertainty and also to represent importance in data aggregation. As non-additive measures are set functions, the number of values to be considered grows exponentially.
