Novel Double Slope Frequency Shift Chirp Symbol
One of the most significant concerns in serial digital communication is the synchronization of data bits between the transmitter and receiver. Therefore, the preferred coding symbols should contain an inherited clock signal. The cyclic-shift chirp, which

Coherent and non-coherent processing of multiband radar sensor data [PDF]
Increasing resolution is an attractive goal for all types of radar sensor applications. Obtaining high radar resolution is strongly related to the signal bandwidth which can be used.

Experiments in Non-Coherent Post-editing
Market pressure on translation productivity joined with technological innovation is likely to fragment and decontextualise translation jobs even more than is currently the case. Many different translators increasingly work on one document at different places, collaboratively working in the cloud.

ABSTRACT Background Medication nonadherence during the first 100 days after pediatric hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and during oncology treatment increases risk for complications. BMT4me is a caregiver‐facing mobile health (mHealth) application providing medication reminders, symptom tracking, and note‐taking features to support ...

Phase tracking for sub-shot-noise-limited receivers
Nonconventional receivers for phase-coherent states based on non-Gaussian measurements such as photon counting surpass the sensitivity limits of shot-noise-limited coherent receivers, the quantum noise limit (QNL). These non-Gaussian receivers can have a

High-sensitive acquisition method of GPS signal based on iridium assistance
Global positioning system (GPS) signal is severely attenuated in indoor, urban, and forest environments. To capture weak GPS signal, long-time coherent integration and non-coherent integration are used to increase signal to noise ratio (SNR).

ABSTRACT The International Paediatric Oncology Society Global Mapping Programme aims to collect data on global paediatric oncology services by continent, with Africa and Latin America completed. This study reports on the methodology and lessons learned for Oceania, a unique continent with resource disparity across countries, multiple small island ...

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.
