In this paper it is investigated the non-coherent demodulation of the 2PPM modulated UWB signal, based on energy-detection. This type of demodulation leads to a simple receiver architecture, low power consumption and the benefit of multipath energy ...

Wireless Chaos-Based Communication Systems: A Comprehensive Survey
Since the early 1990s, a large number of chaos-based communication systems have been proposed exploiting the properties of chaotic waveforms. The motivation lies in the significant advantages provided by this class of non-linear signals.

Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

OFDM-NOMA Error Rate Reduction Using Direct Data Detection
The direct data detection ( $D^{3}$ ) is proven to provide a significant error rate reduction for orthogonal multiple access (OMA) schemes because it does not directly depend on the estimated channel state information (CSI).

Quantitative Detection of the Contrast of Electron Microscopic Images of Amorphous Nanomaterials with the Complex Chemical Composition [PDF]
Physically strict detection of the contrast of electron microscopic images of amorphous nanomaterials has been proposed. The necessity of separation of the contribution to the contrast of different types of electron scattering by sample atoms, namely ...

Chronobiology of Cancer: How Aging Fuels Oncogenesis at the Molecular Level
This graphical abstract illustrates the key biological pathways linking aging with cancer development and progression. In the upper left, cumulative exposure to ultraviolet radiation, toxins, and reactive oxygen species (ROS) causes DNA damage and genomic instability, whereas age‐related decline in repair mechanisms, such as ATM/ATR, BER, and NER ...

Sixty Years of Coherent Versus Non-Coherent Tradeoffs and the Road From 5G to Wireless Futures
Sixty years of coherent versus non-coherent tradeoff as well as the twenty years of coherent versus non-coherent tradeoff in Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) systems are surveyed. Furthermore, the advantages of adaptivity are discussed.

ABSTRACT Advancing artificial intelligence (AI) has transformed learning and work, yet higher education and professional development programs have not systematically equipped learners for AI‐prevalent environments. This lack of preparation creates uncertainty regarding control, responsibility, trust, and accountability.
