On the magnetohydrodynamic type equations in a new class of non-cylindrical domains

1999
The existence and uniqueness theorems are presented for the system of partial differential equations describing the motion of an incompressible magnetohydrodynamic fluid of finite electrical conductivity in the case of no external forces except hydrostatic pressure. The spatial domain is non-cylindrically symmetric.

Exact controllability of the wave equation in non cylindrical domains

Summary: We study the exact boundary controllability of the wave equation \(u''- \Delta u=0\) in a non cylindrical domain of \({\mathbf R}^{n+1}\) which is the union of dilatations and contractions of a bounded open of \({\mathbf R}^ n\).
