Pseudorabies virus (PRV), an emerging zoonotic α‐herpesvirus, causes life‐threatening human encephalitis. We identified a broad‐spectrum neutralizing antibody 6F7 targeting PRV gD. It blocks gD‐Nectin‐1 binding and membrane fusion, inhibiting replication across all PRV variants, representing a promising candidate for anti‐PRV therapy.

Atypical cases of filariasis from a non-endemic area
Filariasis can present in many different ways and pose significant dilemma to the clinician. We report four atypical cases of filariasis which presented as abdominal mass, cervical lymph node enlargement, fever in pregnancy and nosocomial febrile illness respectively. All the four cases were treated successfully with oral antifilarial agents.

High prevalence of the EBER variant EB-8m in endemic nasopharyngeal carcinomas. [PDF]
Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-encoded small RNAs (EBERs) are the most highly expressed transcripts in all EBV-associated tumors and are involved in both lymphoid and epithelioid carcinogenesis.

Host‐specific compatibility between RNF138‐like proteins and flavivirus NS5 determines NS5 stability. Mammalian RNF138 but not arthropod homologs recognizes and induces conserved NS5/RdRp K48‐linked ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation, thereby restricting viral replication. Ectopic RNF138 in mice attenuates TBEV‐induced pathogenesis. (Created in

Cervical tularaemia in a non-endemic area.
Tularemia is a zoonotic disease caused by Francisella tularensis. The microorganism is transmitted to humans by contact with, or ingestion of, infected animal tissues, by insect bites, consumption of contaminated food or water, or from inhalation of aerolized bacteria.

Making Visible HTLV Infection in a Non-endemic Area of Argentina
In Argentina, the human T-cell lymphotropic virus type 1 (HTLV-1) infection has been documented mainly among blood banks with a prevalence of ~0.02–0.046% for Buenos Aires city, 0.8% for the northeast, and 1% for the northwest; both areas are considered endemic for HTLV-2 and 1, respectively.

Donor Extended Blue TADF Dendrimer for High‐Performance Solution‐Processed OLEDs
A dendronized MR‐TADF emitter, DOBNA‐SpAc‐DCz, was designed to improve solubility, hole transport, and exciton dynamics for solution‐processed OLEDs. Incorporation of ter(tert‐butylcarbazole) dendrons decreases ΔEST and accelerates RISC, yielding short delayed lifetimes (∼2 µs).

Aberrant β-catenin expression in urothelial carcinomas in blackfoot disease-endemic areas
Arsenic is a well-known toxic element and carcinogenic agent. The aim of this study was to investigate p63, E-cadherin, and β-catenin proteins in urothelial carcinoma (UC) in both arsenic contaminated areas [so-called blackfoot disease (BFD) area] and ...
