Pressure Distribution Inside Nucleons in a Tsallis-MIT Bag Model
We present a phenomenological framework based on the MIT bag model to estimate the pressure experienced by quarks and gluons inside nucleons. This is accomplished by implementing non-extensive Tsallis statistics for the two-component system.

Dzz2 ou W pour tester la normalité des données d'un échantillon [PDF]
$D_{zz}^2$, a new measure of non-normality in a statistical series, is computed as the total squared difference between the order statistics of the series and values of the corresponding normal series. Following the procedure used by Shapiro et al. (1968)

ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the diagnostic yield and utility of universal paired tumor–normal multigene panel sequencing in newly diagnosed pediatric solid and central nervous system (CNS) tumor patients and to compare the detection of germline pathogenic/likely pathogenic variants (PV/LPVs) against established clinical referral criteria for cancer ...

Exact and approximate results of non-extensive quantum statistics
We develop an analytical technique to derive explicit forms of thermodynamical quantities within the asymptotic approach to non-extensive quantum distribution functions.

Generalized Non-extensive Statistical Distributions
We find the value of constants related to constraints in characterization of some known statistical distributions and then we proceed to use the idea behind maximum entropy principle to derive generalized version of this distributions using the Tsallis' and Renyi information measures instead of the well-known Bolztmann-Gibbs-Shannon.

Outcomes of Live Virus Vaccination in Patients With Vascular Anomalies Being Treated With Sirolimus
ABSTRACT Background Live vaccination in patients with vascular anomalies (VA) receiving sirolimus remains controversial due to immunosuppressive effects and theoretical risks. Procedure This single‐center retrospective study included patients with VA less than 4 years old at the start of sirolimus therapy who were incompletely vaccinated.

Non-extensive statistical mechanics and the thermodynamic stability of FRW universe [PDF]
Abstract In this article, we investigate the thermodynamic stability of the FRW universe for two examples, Tsallis entropy and loop quantum gravity, by considering non-extensive statistical mechanics. The heat capacity, free energy and pressure of the universe are obtained. For the Tsallis entropy model, we obtained the constraint for β,

ABSTRACT Background Families of children with cancer experience significant financial strain, even with universal healthcare. Indirect costs, such as productivity losses and non‐medical expenses, are rarely included in economic evaluations, and little is known about how effectively financial aid programmes alleviate this burden. Childhood brain tumours
