Spatiotemporal characterization of a Fourier and non-Fourier motion system
Direct-phi perception elicited by a reverse-phi (i.e. reversed-polarity) stimulus may well be accounted for, if the front-end filters of a classical Reichardt unit are full-wave rectifiers. It is shown that reverse-phi perception is progressively replaced by direct-phi perception when either the spatial or the temporal modulation of the reversed ...

Significant nanoscale oxygen diffusion coefficient variations are measured in ferroelectric hafnium zirconium oxide films with grain boundaries and electrode interfaces exhibiting values 104 times larger than the grain cores. Overall coefficients are 10X larger for films prepared with metal nitride electrodes compared to refractory metals. New insights

In the work reported herein, dipole‐engineered sulfonated carbon nanofibers enable conductive additives to actively regulate interphase formation in silicon anodes. Polar sulfonyl groups guide electrolyte decomposition to form a compact LiF‐rich interphase while promoting robust integration with silicon.

Error Estimates on Approximating the Finite Fourier Transform of Complex-Valued Functions via a Pre-Grüss Inequality [PDF]
Some estimates for the error in approximating the Finite Fourier Transform in terms of exponential means via a pre-Grüss inequality for complex-valued functions are ...

A graded‐interface hydrogel‐polymer electrolyte decouples water activity to simultaneously stabilize the Zn anode and sustain cathode kinetics. The flexible design supports dendrite‐free cycling over 1600 h, high capacity in both MnO2 and V2O5 full cells, and stable pouch‐cell performance under bending, resolving the fundamental water conflict in ...

Non-Uniform Time Sampling for Multiple-Frequency Harmonic Balance Computations [PDF]
A time-domain harmonic balance method for the analysis of almost-periodic (multi-harmonics) flows is presented. This method relies on Fourier analysis to derive an efficient alternative to classical time marching schemes for such flows.
