Trap‐Modified Inverted Organic Photodetectors via Layer‐by‐Layer Processing with Poly(N‐vinylcarbazole) Additives

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Trap state engineering in inverted organic photodetectors (OPDs) is achieved via combined layer‐by‐layer (LbL) processing and poly(N‐vinylcarbazole) (PVK) incorporation. LbL reduces the trap density while PVK additives gradually shift trap states from shallow band‐edge to deep mid‐gap levels, tailoring the energy distribution.

Spatial Matérn Fields Driven by Non‐Gaussian Noise [PDF]

open access: yesScandinavian Journal of Statistics, 2013
AbstractThe article studies non‐Gaussian extensions of a recently discovered link between certain Gaussian random fields, expressed as solutions to stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs), and Gaussian Markov random fields. The focus is on non‐Gaussian random fields with Matérn covariance functions, and in particular, we show how the SPDE ...

Distributions of Conductance and Shot Noise and Associated Phase Transitions

open access: yes, 2008
For a chaotic cavity with two indentical leads each supporting N channels, we compute analytically, for large N, the full distribution of the conductance and the shot noise power and show that in both cases there is a central Gaussian region flanked on ...

Melt Grafting of Geometry‐Tailored Voltage Stabilizers for High‐Performance Polypropylene Insulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A scalable one‐step melt grafting strategy is developed to enhance the dielectric properties of isotactic polypropylene by covalently incorporating thermally stable aromatic voltage stabilizers. This solvent‐free approach improves volume resistivity and DC breakdown strength through deep trap formation and charge localization, offering a sustainable ...

Non-stationary self-similar Gaussian processes as scaling limits of power law shot noise processes and generalizations of fractional Brownian motion [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
We study shot noise processes with Poisson arrivals and non-stationary noises. The noises are conditionally independent given the arrival times, but the distribution of each noise does depend on its arrival time. We establish scaling limits for such shot

Dynamical suppression of telegraph and 1/f noise due to quantum bistable fluctuator

open access: yes, 2004
We study dynamical decoupling of a qubit from non gaussian quantum noise due to discrete sources, as bistable fluctuators and 1/f noise. We obtain analytic and numerical results for generic operating point.

Rational Device Design and Doping‐Controlled Performance in Fast‐Response π‐Ion Gel Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
π‐Ion gel transistors (PIGTs) achieve extraordinary transconductance and stability through device configuration optimization, high‐mobility conjugated polymer selection, and hole scavenger doping. The optimized PIGTs maintain performance on flexible substrates, enabling printed, fast‐response, and wearable electronics.

Chiral SURMOFs for Vibrational Circular Dichroism: Multiscale Modeling and Experimental Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The use of solid‐state vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) for MOFs is still somewhat unexplored, and in this work, it is shown that chiral surface‐anchored MOFs (SURMOFs) grown on CaF2 provide an excellent platform for VCD. Experimental results are validated through multiscale modeling, showing strong agreement across multiple spectroscopic ...

A novel adaptive Gaussian sum cubature Kalman filter with time-varying non-Gaussian noise for GNSS/SINS tightly coupled integrated navigation system

open access: yesFrontiers in Astronomy and Space Sciences
The Gaussian sum cubature Kalman filter (GSCKF) based on Gaussian mixture model (GMM) is a critical nonlinear non-Gaussian filter for data fusion of global navigation satellite system/strapdown inertial navigation systems (GNSS/SINS) tightly coupled ...
