A non-homogeneous Hill’s equation
Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2005The authors study the nonhomogeneous Hill equation \[ x^{\prime\prime}+p(t)x=f(t),\tag{1} \] where \(p\) and \(f\) are continuous periodic functions of period \(w>0\). The main result of this paper is the following Theorem: If there exist constants \(m\) and \(M\) such that ...

Fuzzy Non-Homogeneous Markov Systems
Applied Intelligence, 2002The non-homogeneous Markov systems (NHMS) are generalized for the case when input-output signals are fuzzy. The main theorems for classical NHMS theory are reconsidered and proved for fuzzy case. In my opinion, the presented theory is very similar to the artificial intelligence theory described by means of neural nets.

Analysis of Displacements of Non-homogenous Granular Pile in Non-homogenous Ground
Proceedings of the International Conference on Ground Improvement & Ground Control, 2012Granular Piles modified with an anchor at the base called Granular Pile Anchor (GPA) can resist pullout load in addition to compressive loads. Analysis of displacements of GPA whose modulus of deformation increases linearly with depth in homogenous ground is presented.

On the effect of non-homogeneity
Pure and Applied Geophysics, 1973Effects of non-homogeneity in respect of rigidity have been computed in the case of a gravitating sphere with a rigid core. For an isotropic spherical shell the effect of variation of rigidity has been calculated when the shell is under pressure or when the shell is subjected to some steady temperature on its internal surface.

ZAMM, 2001
Summary: We determine stresses in a non-homogeneous infinite medium containing an external crack surrounding a non-homogeneous cylindrical inclusion. The crack occupies the region outside the circle surrounding the cylindrical inclusion. The cylindrical inclusion (fiber) and the infinite medium (matrix) have different shear moduli.

Non-homogeneous Pólya-Aeppli process
Communications in Statistics - Simulation and Computation, 2018AbstractIn this paper we suppose that the intensity parameter of the Polya-Aeppli process is a function of time t and call the resulting process a non-homogeneous Polya-Aeppli process (NHPAP).

A Theorem on Non-Homogeneous Lattices
The Annals of Mathematics, 1952Tchebotareff, in his paper (11) dealing with Minkowski's conjecture, used a technique, depending on the additive properties of lattices, to show that, if the determinant d(A) is given, there is a point x of A such that a certain function f(x)-in his case I X1 X2 * * I -is less than a certain constant.
