Journal of Dynamical and Control Systems, 2021
The authors study a class of abstract functional differential equations with continuous-time dynamics interspersed with impulses. At the time of an impulse \(t=s^-\), the system state \(x(t)\) changes according to the equation \[ x(s) = g(s, x(s^-)). \] Between impulses, the state \(x\) is either governed by the abstract differential equation \[ \dot{x}

Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2021
Real‐world processes that display non‐local behaviours or interactions, and that are subject to external impulses over non‐zero periods, can potentially be modelled using non‐instantaneous impulsive fractional differential equations or systems. These have been the subject of many recent papers, which rely on re‐formulating fractional differential ...

Robustness for Non-instantaneous Impulsive Equations via Quadratic Lyapunov Functions
Bulletin of the Malaysian Mathematical Sciences Society, 2022The authors of this interesting paper first characterize the existence of nonuniform exponential contractions for certain non-instantaneous linear impulsive differential systems and then use their characterization to establish a robustness property for sufficiently small linear perturbations of such systems.

Almost Periodic Solutions for Two Non-instantaneous Impulsive Biological Models
Qualitative Theory of Dynamical Systems, 2022The authors investigate two biological models with non-instantaneous impulses. Criteria for the existence and uniqueness of almost periodic solutions are established. The exponential stability of positive almost periodic solutions is also considered. The proofs are based on the Lyapunov method and the fixed point theorem.
