Deflecting small asteroids using laser ablation : Deep space navigation and asteroid orbit control for LightTouch2 Mission [PDF]
This paper presents a low-cost, low mass, mission design to successfully intercept and deflect a small and faint, 4 m in diameter asteroid. Intended to be launched after 2025, the laser-ablating mission, LightTouch2 will be used to deflect the orbit of ...

<p>In this paper, we consider the existence, multiplicity and nonexistence of solutions for a class of $ p $-Laplacian differential equations with non-instantaneous impulses. By using variational methods and critical point theory, we obtain that the impulsive problem has at least one nontrivial solution, at least two nontrivial ...

On Fractional Integro-differential Equations with State-Dependent Delay and Non-Instantaneous Impulses [PDF]
Summary: In this paper, we prove the existence of mild solution of the fractional integro-differential equations with state-dependent delay with not instantaneous impulses. The existence results are obtained under the conditions on the Kuratowski's measure of noncompactness. An example is also given to illustrate the results.

Numerous fixed point theorems (FPTs) are crucial for scientific research in the domains of engineering and science. The main goal of this article is to examine the β-Ulam-Hyers stability for non-instantaneous impulsive fractional integro-differential ...

Human behaviors: a threat for mosquito control?
Community involvement and the preventive behavior of households are considered to be at the heart of vector-control strategies. In this work, we consider a simple theoretical model that enables us to take into account human behaviors that may interfere ...

Fractional stochastic differential Equations (FSDEs) with time delays and non-instantaneous impulses describe dynamical systems whose evolution relies not only on their current state but also on their historical context, random fluctuations, and ...

Stability of Integro Differential Equations with Impulses [PDF]
Sufficient conditions have been derived for the asymptotic stability of the trivial solutions of a class of linear integrodifferential equations under impulsive per-turbations.

Tree-Grass interactions dynamics and Pulse Fires: mathematical and numerical studies
Savannas are dynamical systems where grasses and trees can either dominate or coexist. Fires are known to be central in the functioning of the savanna biome though their characteristics are expected to vary along the rainfall gradients as observed in Sub-

We illustrate how the different kinds of constraints acting on an impulsive mechanical system can be clearly described in the geometric setup given by the configuration space--time bundle $\pi_t:\mathcal{M} \to \mathbb{E}$ and its first jet extension ...

In this manuscript, we work to accomplish the Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem to analyze the existence results for an impulsive neutral integro-differential equations with infinite delay and non-instantaneous impulses in Banach spaces. By deploying the fixed point theorem with semigroup theory, we developed the coveted outcomes.  Â
