Regulatory Framework and Public Policies for Sustainability in the Construction Sector
ABSTRACT This study analyzes the role of public policies in promoting socially responsible practices in the construction sector, with a particular focus on their contribution to climate neutrality and the decarbonization of the building stock. European agreements exert increasing pressure to transform the construction sector, reinforcing the transition

Sampling, Mobility, and Anchoring in Small‐Body Sampling Robots: A Comprehensive Review
Small‐body sampling robots are exploration systems that perform contact, sampling, and stable operations on microgravity bodies such as asteroids and comets. The authors review representative robot architectures and key technologies, focusing on the mechanisms, evolution, and coupling of sampling, mobility, and anchoring.

Machine Learning for Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring
Saving electrical energy is one important way of tackling the human influenced climate change. Non-intrusive load monitoring (NILM) is an information retrieval process on electrical appliances and their energy consumption without any significant intervention into the electric circuit. We show by using new approaches, based on machine and representation

Surface reconditioning through mechanical and electrochemical polishing is shown to extend the fatigue life of predamaged 42CrMo4 steel by over 12 times. By removing ≈100 μm of surface material, surface‐driven fatigue damage is mitigated. This study introduces a reuse potential metric to evaluate fatigue recovery and support sustainable steel reuse.
