GREEND: An Energy Consumption Dataset of Households in Italy and Austria [PDF]
Home energy management systems can be used to monitor and optimize consumption and local production from renewable energy. To assess solutions before their deployment, researchers and designers of those systems demand for energy consumption datasets.

This paper proposes the federated watermark closed‐loop learning (FWM‐CL) method for non‐intrusive load monitoring (NILM) to tackle Byzantine attacks and inefficient power disaggregation. FWM‐CL improves system robustness and disaggregation accuracy through watermark‐based attack detection and a feedback optimisation mechanism.

Non-Intrusive Adaptive Load Identification Based on Siamese Network
The traditional non-intrusive load monitoring (NILM) algorithms are mostly based on classification models, which have several deficiencies. Firstly, a large amount of labeled data is required to train the classification model.

Abstract Non‐intrusive load monitoring (NILM) aims to decompose total electricity usage into appliance‐specific signals, facilitating detailed energy management without the need for further hardware installation. However, precisely isolating the consumption of specific appliances remains difficult because of overlapping signatures, transient ...
