Feasibility and reproducibility of a novel introital exo‐anal ultrasound approach for assessment of the external anal sphincter

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.
A three‐dimensional introital exo‐anal ultrasound approach combining high‐frequency imaging with curvilinear reconstruction enables reproducible visualization and measurement of the anterior external anal sphincter. This method provides a feasible, widely accessible tool for detailed anatomical assessment of the anal sphincter complex.
