Complex Formation Between Polyelectrolytes and Ionic Surfactants
The interaction between polyelectrolyte and ionic surfactant is of great importance in different areas of chemistry and biology. In this paper we present a theory of polyelectrolyte ionic-surfactant solutions.

A model study of cooperative binding of ionic surfactants to oppositely charged flexible polyions [PDF]
A novel statistical model for the cooperative binding of monomeric ligands to a linear lattice is developed to study the interaction of ionic surfactant molecules with flexible polyion chain in dilute solution. Electrostatic binding of a ligand to a site

Co-Adsorption of Alkylphenols and a Non-Ionic Surfactant onto Bentonite
The influence of a non-ionic surfactant on the adsorption behaviour of alkylphenols onto bentonite was studied via measurements of their adsorption isotherms in the absence and presence of various concentrations of the surfactant.

Dynamic Surface Tension of Aqueous Solutions of Ionic Surfactants: Role of Electrostatics [PDF]
The adsorption kinetics of the cationic surfactant dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide at the air-water interface has been studied by the maximum bubble pressure method at concentrations below the critical micellar concentration.

In this work, the interactions between the non-ionic polymer of ethyl(hydroxyethyl)cellulose (EHEC) and mixed anionic surfactant sodium dodecanoate (SDoD)-sodium decanoate (SDeC) in aqueous media, at pH 9.2 (20 mM borate/NaOH buffer) were investigated by

Potentiometric Measurements in Solutions of Non-Ionic Surfactants
Abstract Potentiometric measurements made in deionized cetomacrogol solutions show that the surfactant does not affect the pH values of sodium hydroxide solution or hydrochloric acid. The pH in buffer solutions containing cetomacrogol is changed to an extent which depends on the buffer acid.

Protein separation using surfactant precipitation
Surfactant precipitation applied as a surfactant mediated protein purification technique has considerable potential in protein extraction, and therefore the understanding of the interactions involved and the folding behaviour in the precipitated ...

Carbon nanotube chirality enrichment through chirality-selective precipitation [PDF]
The interaction with surfactants changes from one carbon nanotube species to the other. We used this to replace non-ionic surfactants by ionic ones. By fine-tuning the replacement conditions, we covered some specific nanotubes with non-ionic surfactants ...
