Ion Induced Lamellar-Lamellar Phase Transition in Charged Surfactant Systems
We propose a model for the liquid-liquid phase transition observed in osmotic pressure measurements of certain charged lamellae-forming amphiphiles.

A self‐sustaining solar photoelectrochemical cell (SS‐PEC) is developed to recover uranium from aqueous UO22+ with concurrent organic oxidation and electricity production. The monolithical photoanode directly captures electrons from organic compounds, leading to the oxidation of organic compounds and the decomposition of uranium‐organic complexes ...

Avaliação por SAXS e DSC das interações entre H2O e Renex-100
The aggregation behavior of the non-ionic surfactant Renex-100 in aqueous solutions and mesophases was evaluated by SAXS in a wide range of concentrations, between 20 and 30 °C.

Multifunctional atomic layer deposited coatings and interface treatments enhance direct solar water splitting on GaAs/GaInP tandem cells. Optimized TiO2/Pt nanoparticle bilayers ensure durability and catalytic efficiency with minimal optical losses, while H2 plasma pretreatments maximize photovoltage and interfacial charge extraction.

Solvent distribution in non-ionic surfactant monolayers
The distribution of solvent in the adsorbed monolayers of the non-ionic surfactants monododecyl hexaethylene glycol, C12E6, and monododecyl octaethylene glycol, C12E8, at the air–water interface has been determined from specular neutron reflectivity measurements.

Micropatterned Biphasic Printed Electrodes for High‐Fidelity on‐Skin Bioelectronics
Micropatterned biphasic printed electrodes achieve unprecedented skin conformity and low impedance by combining liquid‐metal droplets with microstructured 3D lattices. This scalable approach enables high‐fidelity detection of ECG, EMG, and EEG signals, including alpha rhythms from the forehead, with long‐term comfort and stability.

A general route to the synthesis of surfactant-free, solvent-dispersible ternary and quaternary chalcogenide nanocrystals [PDF]
A general route to the synthesis of surfactant-free CuInS2 (CIS), Cu2CoSnS4 (CCTS) and Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) nanocrystals dispersible in low boiling point solvents is proposed. These nanocrystal inks should be of great interest to the fabrication of thin film

Emulsion stabilization by non-ionic surfactants: experiment and theory [PDF]
The stability of a dispersion is frequently denoted by a rate constant which is a quantitative measure of the time required for the initial concentration of particles to be reduced to some critical value. The flocculation of hydrophobic sols has been treated in a kinetic study by Smoluchowski (1916, 1917) and a second-order reaction process was found ...

The chemical composition and band alignment are systematically investigated at the TiO2/InP heterointerface. Thin TiO2 films are deposited by ALD on atomically ordered, P‐terminated p‐InP(100). By combining UPS, XPS, and ab initio molecular dynamics, the atomistic structure and electronic alignment are revealed.

Flotação da mistura argila-quartzo com surfactantes e estudos de pilarização
Clay is often employed as a catalyst, but quartz impurities can decrease the catalytic efficiency. Fine particles of clay can be purified by flotation.
