Dynamical System Analysis of Interacting Hessence Dark Energy in $f(T)$ Gravity

open access: yes, 2017
In this work, we have carried on dynamical system analysis of hessence field coupling with dark matter in $f(T)$ gravity. We have analysed the critical points due to autonomous system. The resulting autonomous system is non-linear. So, we have approached

An upstream open reading frame regulates expression of the mitochondrial protein Slm35 and mitophagy flux

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Strength and Behavior of Composite Steel Tube Concrete Beam

open access: yesDiyala Journal of Engineering Sciences, 2015
This paper deals with an experimental and analytical study to investigate the structural behavior of simply supported composite steel-concrete tube beams with external load, in which a concrete is connected together with steel circular tube by means of ...

Double scale analysis of periodic solutions of some non linear vibrating systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We consider {\it small solutions} of a vibrating system with smooth non-linearities for which we provide an approximate solution by using a double scale analysis; a rigorous proof of convergence of a double scale expansion is included; for the forced ...

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

A Useful Excel-Based Program for Kinetic Model Discrimination

open access: yesChemEngineering, 2018
In the present study, the ANEMONA.XLT tool, an Excel template that was designed for calculation of enzyme kinetic parameters, has been successful adapted to some proposed models for dry reforming reaction, such as Eley-Rideal or Langmuir-Hinshelwood ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Non-linear analysis of wrinkling phenomena in sandwich beams with soft core

open access: yesEngineering Transactions
The work is devoted to the local stability analysis of sandwich beams with light core. A linear as well as non-linear numerical analysis is carried out with the use of the finite element method (FEM).
