Blood‐based proteomic profiling reveals context‐dependent changes in BCL2‐associated signaling during taxane therapy in breast cancer patients

Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.

This paper considers non-linear programming models in which randomized solutions are allowed. That is, we consider the minimization of the expected value of a non-linear function subject to constraints on the expectation of nonlinear functions, where the expectations are taken with respect to randomized decision strategies.

A notation for non-linear program edits

We present a visual notation to support the understanding and reasoning about program edits. The graph-based representation directly supports a number of editing operations beyond those offered by a typical, linear program-edit model and makes obvious otherwise hidden states the code can reach through selectively undoing or redoing changes.
