An introduction to non‐Newtonian calculus

International Journal of Mathematical Education in Science and Technology, 1979
In this paper we explain the construction of an arbitrary non‐Newtonian calculus from two given complete ordered fields. We then discuss some features of a few specific non‐Newtonian calculi. And finally we speculate as to the eventual use of the non‐Newtonian calculi as alternatives to the classical calculus of Newton and Leibniz.

An overview on the non-newtonian calculus and its potential applications to economics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Until now, non-newtonian calculus, multiplicative calculus in particular, has been presented as a curiosity and is nearly ignored for the social scientists field. In this paper, after a brief presentation of this calculus, we try to show how it could be used to re-explore from another perspective classical economic theory, more particularly the ...

A note on linear non-Newtonian Volterra integral equations [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Sciences, 2021
In this study, the Volterra integral equations are defined in the non-Newtonian calculus with the aid of *-integral. The focus of this study is obtaining the solution of linear non-Newtonian integral equations.

Some geometric properties of the non-Newtonian sequence spaces lp (N) [PDF]

open access: yesMathematica Slovaca, 2020
In this paper, we generalize the concepts of convexity, strict convexity and uniform convexity in the sense of non-Newtonian calculus. The main aim of this study is to obtain the non-Newtonian convexity, non-Newtonian strict convexity and non-Newtonian ...

ON FRACTIONAL INTEGRAL OPERATOR OVER NON-NEWTONIAN CALCULUS

2023
The definition of a non-Newtonian calculus is based on the homeomorphism which customary denoted by y = a(x). In the mean of this function, elementary algebraic operations can be modified and we reach to the world of new calculus that is called a Non-Newtonian calculus.

On the Function Sequences and Series in the Non-Newtonian Calculus

2020
The purpose of this study is to examine the function sequences and series in the non-Newtonian real numbers. Firstly, the information about the studies that are done until today and the application areas, was briefly given. Non-Newtonian calculus was introduced which is an alternative to the classical calculus, definitions, theorems and properties were

Revolutionizing Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow Models: Fractional Calculus and Non-Newtonian Dynamics Meet Advanced Numerical Methods

Communications on Applied Nonlinear Analysis
This research explores the recent advancements in mathematical modelling of heat transfer and fluid flows, emphasizing fractional calculus, non-Newtonian fluid dynamics, and nanofluid models. We discuss the use of fractional derivatives in modelling complex thermal and flow behaviours in various engineering contexts, including permeable surfaces and ...

Convexity and Hermite-Hadamard Type Inequality via Non-Newtonian Calculus

2019
In this paper, firstly we research basic definition of convexity in terms of non-Newtonian calculi, i.e. interval, convex set, convexity, etc. Secondly, we deal with the different classes of convexity and generalizations via non-Newtonian calculi. Finally, we reveal the new generalization of the definition of convexity that can reduce many order of ...
