Relative Oscillation–Non-Oscillation Criteria for Perturbed Periodic Dirac Systems
The author considers radial Dirac operators and gives criteria on perturbations of the coefficients which ensure that the solutions to the perturbed problem are ``relatively nonoscillatory'' in the sense that the difference between the Prüfer angles of the solutions to the perturbed and unperturbed problems remains bounded.

Age‐Related Characteristics of SYT1‐Associated Neurodevelopmental Disorder
ABSTRACT Objectives We describe the clinical manifestations and developmental abilities of individuals with SYT1‐associated neurodevelopmental disorder (Baker‐Gordon syndrome) from infancy to adulthood. We further describe the neuroradiological and electrophysiological characteristics of the condition at different ages, and explore the associations ...

Non-oscillation of second order linear self-adjoint nonhomogeneous difference equations [PDF]
The author considers the linear second order difference equation \(\Delta (p_{n-1}\Delta y_{n-1})+q_ny_n=0\), the nonlinear nonhomogeneous second order difference equation \(\Delta (p_{n-1}\Delta y_{n-1})+q_ng(y_n)=f_{n-1}\), where \(f_n\geq 0\) or \(f_n\leq 0\) and \(ug(u)>0\) for \(u\neq 0\), and the linear third order difference equation \(y_{n+2 ...

Lessons Learned From a Delayed‐Start Trial of Modafinil for Freezing of Gait in Parkinson's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Freezing of gait (FOG) in people with Parkinson's disease (PwPD) is debilitating and has limited treatments. Modafinil modulates beta/gamma band activity in the pedunculopontine nucleus (PPN), like PPN deep brain stimulation. We therefore tested the hypothesis that Modafinil would improve FOG in PwPD.

Neutrino mass and mixing parameters: A short review
We present a brief review of the current status of neutrino mass and mixing parameters, based on a comprehensive phenomenological analysis of neutrino oscillation and non-oscillation searches, within the standard three-neutrino mixing framework.Comment ...

Neutrino oscillations and signals in beta and 0nu2beta experiments
Assuming Majorana neutrinos, we infer from oscillation data the expected values of the parameters m_{nu_e} and m_{ee} probed by beta and 0nu2beta-decay experiments.

This paper proposes two projector‐based Hopfield neural network (HNN) estimators for online, constrained parameter estimation under time‐varying data, additive disturbances, and slowly drifting physical parameters. The first is a constraint‐aware HNN that enforces linear equalities and inequalities (via slack neurons) and continuously tracks the ...

Non-oscillating solutions to uncoupled Ermakov systems and the semi-classical limit [PDF]
The amplitude-phase formulation of the Schr dinger equation is investigated within the context of uncoupled Ermakov systems, whereby the amplitude function is given by the auxiliary nonlinear equation. The classical limit of the amplitude and phase functions is analyzed by setting up a semiclassical Ermakov system.

Current Tracking Adaptive Control of Brushless DC Motors
In this paper, the current tracking for Brushless Direct Current motors is approached considering uncertainty in the parameters of the motor's model. An adaptive control scheme to compensate electrical parameters uncertainty is proposed without requiring any knowledge of the mechanical parameters.

Assuming that neutrinos are Majorana particles, in a three generation framework, current and future neutrino oscillation experiments can determine six out of the nine parameters which fully describe the structure of the neutrino mass matrix.
