Research in the digital humanities often involves vague information, either because our objects of study lack clearly defined boundaries, or because our knowledge about them is incomplete or hypothetical, which is especially true in disciplines about our

An orthogonal ionic‐liquid extraction (Orth‐iEA) enables selective isolation of amyloid fibrils. TMGBF4 disrupts hydrogen‐bonded β‐sheet networks to solubilize amyloid aggregates, whereas C12ImCl interacts with hydrophobic regions of non‐amyloid proteins.

A performance analysis of a hybrid relational-XML approach to store partially-structured data [PDF]
Nowadays, huge amounts of data are stored outside the rigid boundary of highly- structured and traditional database management systems, such as World Wide Web, application data that deals with non-standard data formats, legacy systems and structured ...

A Modeling methodology for NoSQL Key-Value databases [PDF]
In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in the field of non-relational databases. However, far too little attention has been paid to design methodology.

Graphical Notation for Document Database Modeling
Goals and objectives. Graphical models have proven to be a reliable, clear and convenient tool for creating sketch models of databases. Most of the existing notations are designed for the relational data model, the dominant data model for the last thirty

Decoding Spatial Heterogeneity and Multi‐Omics Regulation with Hierarchical Graph Learning
ABSTRACT Recent advances in spatial multi‐omics technologies have enabled the simultaneous profiling of multiple molecular layers within the same tissue slice, providing unprecedented opportunities to investigate tissue spatial organization. However, most existing computational methods identify spatial domains in a purely data‐driven manner, rarely ...

Application of Non-Relational Databases in the Social Networks
<p>The purpose of this research is to present knowledge in the field of work of databases that contain semi-structured data, also known as NoSQL, in applications using large array data structures. The characteristics of the main categories of the non-relational databases and some of their typical representatives (MongoDB, Redis) have been ...

MXML Storage and the Problem of Manipulation of Context [PDF]
The problem of storing and querying XML data using relational databases has been considered a lot and many techniques have been developed. MXML is an extension of XML suitable for represent- ing data that assume different facets, having different value ...

Proving Finite Satisfiability of Deductive Databases [PDF]
It is shown how certain refutation methods can be extended into semi-decision procedures that are complete for both unsatisfiability and finite satisfiability. The proposed extension is justified by a new characterization of finite satisfiability. This
