Survival differences in non-seminoma testis cancer patients according to race/ethnicity
Cancer EpidemiologyHistoric evidence suggests that non-Caucasian race/ethnicity predisposes to higher testis cancer-specific mortality (CSM) in non-seminoma. However, it is unknown, whether higher CSM in non-Caucasians applies to Hispanics or Asians or African-Americans, or all of the above groups. In contemporary patients, we tested whether CSM is higher in these select

Radiation Therapy of Testicular Non-Seminomas
Journal of Urology, 1982The prognosis of 121 patients with a non-seminoma testicular tumor MTI or MTU was assessed. The clinical lymph node involvement and the T-category of the primary had a significant bearing on prognosis, which is completely determined by pulmonary relapse. The low-risk group (9% pulmonary relapse, all curable) is characterized by a primary category T1 or

Is there a Role for Radiotherapy in the Management of Testicular Non‐Seminomas?
Australasian Radiology, 1984SUMMARYIn recent years several new treatment options have become available in the management of Stage I and II nonseminomatous tumours of the testis as a result of more accurate staging of tumour extent and the development of curative chemotherapy.

Conditional survival of stage III non-seminoma testis cancer patients
Urologic Oncology: Seminars and Original Investigations, 2023In many primaries other than non-seminoma testis cancer, the risk of death due to cancer decreases with increasing disease-free interval duration after initial diagnosis and treatment. This effect is known as conditional survival and is relatively unexplored in stage III non-seminoma patients, where it may matter most in clinical decision-making.

Initial chemotherapy for stage II testicular non-seminoma
World Journal of Urology, 1994A retrospective survival analysis was performed on 287 patients treated with chemotherapy following orchidectomy for stage II testicular non-seminoma between 1982 and 1986 at a number of centres in the United Kingdom and 1 centre in Norway. A total of 80 patients had lymphadenectomy for a residual mass after chemotherapy.
