Valuation of Non-Timber Forest Products (NTFPs) Models, Problems, and Issues
Journal of Sustainable Forestry, 2000Abstract This study makes the case for proper valuation of NTFPs and reviews various types of models that can be used for this purpose. Two types of values-income/flow and wealth/stock-are suggested; these can be estimated with six types of conceptual models. The data requirements of models along with their merits and de-merits are explained.
