Homodyne detection of ferromagnetic resonance by a non-uniform radio-frequency excitation current

Applied Physics Express, 2018
Ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) is one of the most popular techniques to characterize dynamic properties of ferromagnetic materials. Among various FMR measurement techniques, the homodyne FMR detection has been frequently used to characterize thin-film ferromagnetic multilayers owing to its high sensitivity.

Non-uniform excitation of pectoralis major induced by changes in bench press inclination leads to uneven variations in the cross-sectional area measured by panoramic ultrasonography.

Journal of Electromyography & Kinesiology, 2022
This study combined surface electromyography with panoramic ultrasound imaging to investigate whether non-uniform excitation could lead to acute localized variations in cross-sectional area and muscle thickness of the clavicular and sternocostal heads of

Non-Uniform Excited State Electronic-Vibrational Coupling of Pigment–Protein Complexes

The Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters, 2020
Photosynthetic organisms exploit interacting quantum degrees of freedom, namely intrapigment electron-vibrational (vibronic) and interpigment dipolar couplings (J-coupling), to rapidly and efficiently convert light into chemical energy. These interactions result in wave function configurations that delocalize excitation between pigments and pigment ...

Non-uniform impact excitation of a cylindrical bar

Journal of Sound and Vibration, 2009
An experimental and numerical study of a non-uniform impact excitation of a circular bar is reported. In experiments, nine strikers with different contact area were accelerated against a circular bar. Axial surface strain of the impacted bar was measured at several distances from the impinged end to include the near and the far fields.

A non uniform air gap hybrid excitation alternator

2017 IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference (ITEC-India), 2017
Many parallel hybrid excitation alternators proposed in the literature have utilized two rotor cores for flux regulation. It increases the size of the alternator. In order to reduce the size of the alternator, an approach for accommodating both excitation windings and permanent magnets in the same rotor core of hybrid excitation alternator is also ...

Interior non-uniformity of acoustically excited oscillating gas bubbles

Journal of Hydrodynamics, 2019
In the present paper, the interior non-uniformity of oscillating gas bubbles in liquids under an acoustic field is theoretically investigated, as well as the temperature non-uniformity in the surrounding liquid. The pressure, the density and the temperature inside the gas bubbles are quantitatively predicted for a wide range of bubble Mach numbers.

Microwave Fresnel Zone Plates with Non-Uniform Aperture Excitation

IETE Journal of Research, 1977
A theoretical study of the variation of relative field amplitude with axial distance has been made for a plane and a spherical microwave zone plate with an incident plane wave front having non-uniform aperture excitation distribution. The results show a sharper focussing property for the non-uniform excitation.

Design of low sidelobe series microstrip array antenna with non‐uniform spacing and excitation amplitude

Electronics Letters, 2020
To reduce the sidelobe level (SLL), a ten-element non-uniform microstrip array antenna at 14.25 GHz frequency was designed. This Letter proposes an improved differential evolution algorithm, expanding the optimisation variable from one, the array element

A Novel Dual Port Dual Rotor Wound Field Flux Switching Generator With Uniform and Non-Uniform Rotor Poles for Counter-Rotating Wind Power Generation

IEEE transactions on energy conversion, 2023
In this paper, a novel dual port counter rotating dual rotor wound field flux switching generator (DPCRDR-WFFSG) is proposed for direct drive counter rotating wind power generation. Mechanism of gearless and brushless counter rotating operation of DPCRDR-
