This study addressed how a senior research thesis is perceived by undergraduate students. It assessed students' perception of research skills, epistemological beliefs, and career goals in Biochemistry (science) and BDC (science‐business) students. Completing a thesis improved confidence in research skills, resilience, scientific identity, closed gender‐

Efficient side lobe level reduction technique for planar antenna arrays
This paper presents a novel array synthesis technique based on the virtual antenna array (VAA) concept for side lobe level (SLL) reduction of uniform planar antenna arrays (UPAA).

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Quench from Mott Insulator to Superfluid
We study a linear ramp of the nearest-neighbor tunneling rate in the Bose-Hubbard model driving the system from the Mott insulator state into the superfluid phase.

The Aging Blood: Cellular Origins, Circulating Drivers, and Therapeutic Potential
As a conduit linking all organs, the blood system both reflects and actively drives systemic aging. This review highlights how circulating pro‐aging and antiaging factors and age‐associated hematopoietic stem cell dysfunction contribute to immunosenescence and multi‐organ decline, positioning the hematopoietic system as a target for aging intervention.

Single-particle excitations in the uniform electron gas by diagrammatic Monte Carlo
We calculate the single-particle excitation spectrum and the Landau liquid parameters for the archetypal model of solids, the three-dimensional uniform electron gas, with the variational diagrammatic Monte Carlo method, which gives numerically controlled

Widefield fluorescence microscopy with extended resolution [PDF]
Widefield fluorescence microscopy is seeing dramatic improvements in resolution, reaching today 100nm in all three dimensions. This gain in resolution is achieved by dispensing with uniform Köhler illumination.
