milliProxy: a TCP Proxy Architecture for 5G mmWave Cellular Systems
TCP is the most widely used transport protocol in the internet. However, it offers suboptimal performance when operating over high bandwidth mmWave links.

Feasibility of Non-Line-of-Sight Integrated Sensing and Communication at mmWave [PDF]
One rarely addressed direction in the context of Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) is non-line-of-sight (NLOS) sensing, with the potential to enable use cases like intrusion detection and to increase the value that wireless networks can bring ...

Definition and Validation of an Exposure Measurement Method for a Typical Load of a Base Station
ABSTRACT In the context of risk communication in mobile radio, a discussion has emerged whether exposure at common load of a base station should be presented in addition to the theoretical maximum, especially with 5G massive‐MIMO. However, a reproducible measurement method for instantaneous exposure independent of the utilization of the cell has yet to

LOS and NLOS identification in real indoor environment using deep learning approach
Visibility conditions between antennas, i.e. Line-of-Sight (LOS) and Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) can be crucial in the context of indoor localization, for which detecting the NLOS condition and further correcting constant position estimation errors or ...

Measurement and Statistical Analysis of Distinguishable Multipaths in Underground Tunnels
Compared with the line-of-sight (LOS) condition, the multipath effect is more serious in the non-line-of-sight (NLOS) condition. Therefore, the LOS and NLOS identification is necessary for the multipath analysis of signal propagation.

AI‐Enhanced Signal Detection and Channel Estimation for Beyond 5G and 6G Wireless Networks
This paper introduces deep learning‐based methods for channel estimation and signal detection in ma‐MIMO systems, significantly improving performance. FF‐PCNet enhances channel estimation with 40.2% lower error, and LSTM‐DetNet and FF‐DetNet signal detection methods, which achieve superior signal detection with up to 99.993% SER performance and reduced

Fading effects in radio communication systems are often modelled using statistical distributions. Some distributions are derived based on physical channel properties. In contrast, others are adapted from statistics and applied to channel modelling based on their goodness‐of‐fit to measurements or on their mathematical simplicity.

An Indoor Robust Localization Algorithm Based on Data Association Technique
As a key technology of the Internet of Things, wireless sensor network (WSN) has been used widely in indoor localization systems. However, when the sensor is transmitting signals, it is affected by the non-line-of-sight (NLOS) transmission, and the ...

To date, Bi(H3O)[B(SO)2]4 is only the second structure type containing a 3D anion within borosulfate chemistry. In this contribution three more representatives were synthesized, formally replacing oxonium by the molecular cations nitrosonium, nitronium, and ammonium. The structures crystallize homeotypically to the very first compound.

A Stochastic Geometry Framework for LOS/NLOS Propagation in Dense Small Cell Networks
The need to carry out analytical studies of wireless systems often motivates the usage of simplified models which, despite their tractability, can easily lead to an overestimation of the achievable performance.
