Application of a Scale Normalization Technique for High Resolution Analysis of the Magnetosheath at Mars

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, Volume 129, Issue 12, December 2024.
Abstract In order to study spatial distributions of global magnetosheath structures, physicists often rely upon spatial binning, whereby space is divided into cells, each filled with the average value of all spacecraft measurements within that cell. The traditional binning schema utilizes a fixed Cartesian grid of cube bins.

On the smooth Whitney fibering conjecture

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 110, Issue 6, December 2024.
Abstract We improve upon the first Thom–Mather isotopy theorem for Whitney stratified sets. In particular, for the more general Bekka stratified sets we show that there is a local foliated structure with continuously varying tangent spaces, thus proving the smooth version of the Whitney fibering conjecture.

Lectures on Graded Differential Algebras and Noncommutative Geometry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
These notes contain a survey of some aspects of the theory of graded differential algebras and of noncommutative differential calculi as well as of some applications connected with physics. They also give a description of several new developments.

Tubings, chord diagrams, and Dyson–Schwinger equations

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 110, Issue 5, November 2024.
Abstract We give series solutions to single insertion place propagator‐type systems of Dyson–Schwinger equations using binary tubings of rooted trees. These solutions are combinatorially transparent in the sense that each tubing has a straightforward contribution.

Fuzzy Gravity: Four‐Dimensional Gravity on a Covariant Noncommutative Space and Unification with Internal Interactions

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 72, Issue 9-10, October 2024.
Abstract In the present work, an extended description of the covariant noncommutative space is presented, which accommodates the Fuzzy Gravity model constructed previously. It is based on the historical lesson that the use of larger algebras containing all generators of the isometry of the continuous one helped in formulating a fuzzy covariant ...

Local and Global Properties of the World [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
The essence of the method of physics is inseparably connected with the problem of interplay between local and global properties of the universe. In the present paper we discuss this interplay as it is present in three major departments of contemporary ...

Applying projective functors to arbitrary holonomic simple modules

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 110, Issue 2, August 2024.
Abstract We prove that applying a projective functor to a holonomic simple module over a semisimple finite‐dimensional complex Lie algebra produces a module that has an essential semisimple submodule of finite length. This implies that holonomic simple supermodules over certain Lie superalgebras are quotients of modules that are induced from simple ...

On Fourier–Mukai type autoequivalences of Kuznetsov components of cubic threefolds

open access: yesMathematische Nachrichten, Volume 297, Issue 5, Page 1866-1878, May 2024.
Abstract We determine the group of all Fourier–Mukai type autoequivalences of Kuznetsov components of smooth complex cubic threefolds, and provide yet another proof for the Fourier–Mukai version of the categorical Torelli theorem for smooth complex cubic threefolds.
