The Geometry of Noncommutative Spacetimes [PDF]

open access: yesUniverse, 2017
We review the concept of ‘noncommutative spacetime’ approached from an operational stand-point and explain how to endow it with suitable geometrical structures. The latter involves i.a.

Applied Latin Hypercube stochastic method to quantify the uncertainty in groundwater equation model simulations [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2021
It is accepted that digital models simplify the physical reality that is the object of the modeling. Hydrodynamic modeling is an approach with high uncertainties in this context.

Groundwater flow equation, overview, derivation, and solution [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2021
Darcy’s law is the basic law of flow, and it produces a partial differential equation is similar to the heat transfer equation when coupled with an equation of continuity that explains the conservation of fluid mass during flow through a porous media ...

A study of water infiltration basin and clogging using column experiments [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2021
The clogging of infiltration basins is the main problem affecting the proper functioning of groundwater artificial recharge systems. In this study, several parameters have been varied to understand their impacts on water infiltration.

Noncommutative geometry of Zitterbewegung [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2017
Based on the mathematics of noncommutative geometry, we model a 'classical' Dirac fermion propagating in a curved spacetime. We demonstrate that the inherent causal structure of the model encodes the possibility of Zitterbewegung - the 'trembling motion' of the fermion. We recover the well-known frequency of Zitterbewegung as the highest possible speed

One-loop corrections to the spectral action

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
We analyze the perturbative quantization of the spectral action in noncommutative geometry and establish its one-loop renormalizability in a generalized sense, while staying within the spectral framework of noncommutative geometry. Our result is based on

Noncommutative Geometries and Gravity [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 2008
We briefly review ideas about ``noncommutativity of space-time'' and approaches toward a corresponding theory of gravity.

On the Noncommutative Geometry of Tilings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
This is a chapter in an incoming book on aperiodic order. We review results about the topology, the dynamics, and the combinatorics of aperiodically ordered tilings obtained with the tools of noncommutative geometry.

On curvature in noncommutative geometry [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 1996
A general definition of a bimodule connection in noncommutative geometry has been recently proposed. For a given algebra this definition is compared with the ordinary definition of a connection on a left module over the associated enveloping algebra. The corresponding curvatures are also compared.
