ON THE NONEXISTENCE of BENT FUNCTIONS
International Journal of Foundations of Computer Science, 2011In this paper, we study the nonexistence of bent functions in the class of Boolean functions without monomials of degree less than d in their algebraic normal forms (ANF). We prove that n-variable Boolean functions in such class are not bent when there are not more than n + d - 3 monomials in their ANFs.

Nonexistence for the Kassoy Problem
SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis, 1987The authors prove that the Kassoy problem \[ y''-\frac{x}{2}y'+e^ y- 1=0,\quad y(0)=\alpha,\quad y'(0)=0,\quad \alpha \in R, \] has no solution which has the asymptotic property \(y(x)\sim -2\ell nx+k\) as \(x\to \infty\).

It can be said that the greatest pitfall for the infection control practitioner lies in the realm of problem solving'; however, responding to potential problems is intrinsic to the role of the infection control practitioner. Potential problems are presented to the infection control practitioner not only by his or her employees and supervisors, but also

ON NONEXISTENCE OF GROUND STATES
The Quarterly Journal of Mathematics, 1988Let y(t) be a solution of the equation \(q(t,y'))'+a(t)f(y)=0\). In this paper, questions about the qualitative behaviour, such as the positivity, or the oscillatory character, of y on a half-line (T,\(\infty)\) are discussed in relation to structure hypotheses on the functions q,a and f. Particular examples are: \(q(t,v)=| v|^{m-2}v\) and \(q(t,v)=v(1+
