Nonexistence of invariant measures [PDF]
Let G G be a group acting on a set X X . Suppose that for some positive integer r r , G G contains a free group F F of rank > r > r and the intersection of any stabilizer with F F has rank ⩽

On the nonexistence of pure multi-solitons for the quartic gKdV equation [PDF]
We consider the quartic (nonintegrable) (gKdV) equation. Let u(t) be an outgoing 2-soliton of the equation, i.e. a solution behaving exactly as the sum of two solitons (of speeds c1 and c2) for large positive time.

Nonexistence and optimal decay of supersolutions to Choquard equations in exterior domains [PDF]
We consider a semilinear elliptic problem with a nonlinear term which is the product of a power and the Riesz potential of a power. This family of equations includes the Choquard or nonlinear Schroedinger--Newton equation. We show that for some values of

A Perturbed Cauchy Viscoelastic Problem in an Exterior Domain
A Cauchy viscoelastic problem perturbed by an inverse-square potential, and posed in an exterior domain of RN, is considered under a Dirichlet boundary condition.

A Time-Fractional Differential Inequality of Sobolev Type on an Annulus
Several phenomena from natural sciences can be described by partial differential equations of Sobolev-type. On the other hand, it was shown that in many cases, the use of fractional derivatives provides a more realistic model than the use of standard ...

Novel Beings and Assisted Nonexistence [PDF]
AbstractThis article engages with the legal regulation of end-of-existence decisionmaking for novel beings, specifically assisted nonexistence for such entities. The author explains the concept of a legal model for assisted death by reference to the substantive features of legal regimes in three jurisdictions in which assisted suicide or euthanasia is ...

Nonexistence of Positive Solutions for Quasilinear Equations with Decaying Potentials
In this paper, we consider a quasilinear Schrödinger equation, which arises from the study of the superfluid film equation in plasma physics. Our main goal is to find the growth condition for nonlinear term and decaying condition for the potential ...

Nonexistence of self-similar singularities for the 3D incompressible Euler equations
We prove that there exists no self-similar finite time blowing up solution to the 3D incompressible Euler equations. By similar method we also show nonexistence of self-similar blowing up solutions to the divergence-free transport equation in $\Bbb R^n$.
