Intraductal "Noninfiltrating" Carcinoma of the Breast

We are reviewing 40 patients with noninvasive intraductal carcients; 10% developed oppostie breast cancer of the invasive variety. Twenty-one patients underwent radical mastectomy in which one patient was found to have a positive axillary node. The 19 remaining patients had total mastectomy alone.

Noninfiltrating angiolipoma of the mediastinum.

A case of mediastinal angiolipoma in a 63-year-old man is described. A computed tomographic scan of the thorax demonstrated a large encapsulated mass with fatty and soft-tissue components near the esophagus. This appearance was considered suggestive of a liposarcoma. Abstract The experimental hydraulic resistance of a composite inorganic membrane can be much larger than the resistance obtained by summing all the layers resistances. This is explained by a transition boundary layer between two porous media of drastically different sizes.
