Study on wetting mechanism of nonionic silicone surfactant on coal dust
Coal dust disasters are serious in coal mining. The use of nonionic surfactants can effectively improve the wettability of coal dust and reduce the content of suspended coal dust in the air.

Nonionic polymer surfactants [PDF]
AbstractNonionic water‐soluble polymeric surfactants have been prepared by addition of long‐chain n‐alkyl epoxides to nonionic cellulose ethers. The polymers exhibit properties which can be explained by interchain association. The relationship between hydrocarbon‐modifier carbon number and the onset of association follows a linear relation analogous to

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

STUDY OF MICELLES SIZE INFLUENCE ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF RESIDUAL OIL DISPLACEMENT
This paper presents the results of laboratory studies of the influence of the size of compound micelles created by a mixture of anionic surfactants, received from low quality hydrocarbon raw materials, and nonionic surfactants on the efficiency of ...

Objective The study aimed to identify symptom‐based predictors of dry eye disease (DED) signs in the Sjögren's International Collaborative Clinical Alliance (SICCA) cohort. Methods We performed a retrospective analysis examining 16 ocular symptoms (most graded 0–4) and artificial tear (AT) use (graded 0–3) as predictors of DED signs (abnormal ocular ...

This study presents a reversible temperature sensor with high switching ratio, ∼103. The device is fabricated using PET‐ITO and carbon nanotube dispersions in alkane. Considering its application in cold chain logistics, a proof‐of‐concept with LED is showcased. Thus, a temperature drop below the threshold temperature (crystallization temperature of the
