Magnetic Fields in Nonlinear Salient Pole Alternators

The flux densities under load are established in the cross section of salient pole alternators of low pole numbers. The two-dimensional partial differential equations describing the magnetic vector potentials are first transformed in partial difference equations and a new algorithm is given.

The author considers several Schwarz alternating method for solving nonlinear elliptic problems. It is shown that these methods with two overlapping subdomains can be embedded in the framework of Banach and Schauder fixed point methods or the theory of global inversion.

Generating the EDGE signal at essentially the same cost as for GSM is difficult due to the additional linearity required from the RF power circuitry.
