The Galerkin-Implicit Methods for Solving Nonlinear Hyperbolic Boundary Value Problem
This paper is concerned with finding the approximation solution (APPS) of a certain type of nonlinear hyperbolic boundary value problem (NOLHYBVP). The given BVP is written in its discrete (DI) weak form (WEF), and is proved that it has a unique APPS,

A chiral photodetector capable of selectively distinguishing left‐ and right‐handed circularly polarized light is experimentally demonstrated. The device, which features a nanopatterned electrode inverse‐designed by a genetic algorithm within a metal–dielectric–metal nanocavity that incorporates a vacuum‐deposited small‐molecule multilayer, exhibits ...

On a boundary value problem for nonlinear functional differential equations
We consider the problem u′(t)=H(u)(t)+Q(u)(t), u(a)=h(u), where H,Q:C([a,b];R)→L([a,b];R) are, in general, nonlinear continuous operators, H∈ℋabαβ(g0,g1,p0,p1), and h:C([a,b];R)→R is a continuous functional.

Resonant problem for some second-order differential equation on the half-line
We prove the existence of at least one solution to a nonlinear second-order differential equation on the half-line, with the boundary conditions $x'(0)=0$ and with the first derivative vanishing at infinity.

Predicting Atomic Charges in MOFs by Topological Charge Equilibration
An atomic charge prediction method is presented that is able to accurately reproduce ab‐initio‐derived reference charges for a large number of metal–organic frameworks. Based on a topological charge equilibration scheme, static charges that fulfill overall neutrality are quickly generated.

The solution of the global relation for the derivative nonlinear Schr\"odinger equation on the half-line [PDF]
We consider initial-boundary value problems for the derivative nonlinear Schr\"odinger (DNLS) equation on the half-line $x > 0$. In a previous work, we showed that the solution $q(x,t)$ can be expressed in terms of the solution of a Riemann-Hilbert ...

Dense Nanofibrillar Collagen–Silica Hybrids with High Strength and ECM‐Mimetic Tissue Integration
Dense nanofibrillar collagen–silica hybrids are engineered by synchronizing collagen fibrillogenesis with silica condensation, producing printable scaffolds that unexpectedly approach native extracellular matrix organization and strength. These cell‐free constructs guide endogenous cell‐infiltration, enable localized matrix remodeling, and integrate ...

Higher-Order Dynamic Delay Differential Equations on Time Scales
We study the existence of positive solutions for the nonlinear four-point singular boundary value problem with higher-order p-Laplacian dynamic delay differential equations on time scales, subject to some boundary conditions.

The Yamabe Problem and Nonlinear Boundary Value Problems
The paper is concerned with the scalar curvature equation with prescribed mean curvature on the boundary of a given Riemannian manifold. Just as in \textit{T. Ouyang} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 331, No. 2, 503-527 (1992; Zbl 0759.35021)], this Riemannian manifold is assumed to have negative constant scalar curvature in the interior and zero mean curvature ...

Imaging of Biphoton States: Fundamentals and Applications
Quantum states of two photons exhibit a rich polarization and spatial structure, which provides a fundamental resource of strongly correlated and entangled states. This review analyzes the physics of these intriguing properties and explores the various techniques and technologies available to measure them, including the state of the art of their ...
