Chaos and Bifurcation Control Using Nonlinear Recursive Controller [PDF]
Chaos and bifurcation control is achieved by nonlinear controller that is able to mitigate the characteristics of a class of nonlinear systems that are experiencing such phenomenon.

High‐Speed Photoresponse of CVD‐Grown Lateral TMD Heterostructures
Internal electric fields generated by p‐n junctions and asymmetric Schottky barriers enhance the photoresponse speed in CVD‐grown monolayer TMD lateral heterostructures. This results in a 1.5‐2 orders of magnitude reduction in rise and fall times for optimized device configurations compared to homogeneous single‐material devices, enabling bandwidths ...

Modeling nonlinear systems using multiple piecewise linear equations [PDF]
This paper describes a technique for modeling nonlinear systems using multiple piecewise linear equations. The technique provides a means for linearizing the nonlinear system in such a way as to not limit the large signal behavior of the  ...

Hafnium zirconium oxide thin films are grown using plasma‐enhanced atomic layer deposition with the addition of an atomic layer annealing (ALA) step. ALA leads to a change in the short‐range structure of the deposit and encourages formation of the ferroelectric Pca21 phase. The result is wake‐up‐free performance with films exposed to ALA.

A Solution for Volterra Fractional Integral Equations by Hybrid Contractions
In this manuscript, we propose a solution for Volterra type fractional integral equations by using a hybrid type contraction that unifies both nonlinear and linear type inequalities in the context of metric spaces.

Electrically Induced Phase Transition and Synaptic Functionality in MoTe2/Graphene Memristors
An electrically induced reversible 2H ↔ 1T′ phase transition is demonstrated in a vertical Au/Ti/MoTe2/graphene memristor with a laterally contacted graphene electrode. Resistive switching proceeds through a compositionally invariant amorphous/2H ↔ amorphous/1T′ transformation, in which a self‐formed amorphous MoTe2 interfacial region is proposed to ...

Contraction-Theoretic Approaches to Robust Synchronization and Control of Chaotic Systems
This work builds contraction-based techniques of chaotic synchronization and control resistant to bounded perturbations and without any statistical noise requirements that introduce a Kannan-like contraction scheme that generalizes classical Banach ...

A modification of the convective constraint release mechanism in the molecular stress function model giving enhanced vortex growth [PDF]
YesThe molecular stress function model with convective constraint release (MSF with CCR) constitutive model [J. Rheol. 45 (2001), 1387] is capable of fitting all viscometric data for IUPAC LDPE, with only two adjustable parameters (with difference found ...

Architecture‐Driven Functional Coupling in Vertically Aligned Nanocomposites
Vertically aligned nanocomposites define a growth‐engineered architecture in which vertical interfaces, strain fields, defect pathways, and phase connectivity are created simultaneously. This review shows how these architectural features couple ferroic, optical, ionic, electrochemical, and device responses, establishing design rules and open challenges
