Output contraction analysis of nonlinear systems
This paper introduce the notion of output contraction that expands the contraction notion to the time-varying nonlinear systems with output. It pertains to the systems' property that any pair of outputs from the system converge to each other exponentially.

Generalizations of Darbo’s fixed point-theorem and its application to the solvability of a nonlinear fractional differential equation [PDF]
This paper introduces novel fixed-point theorems for generalized Proinov contraction mappings utilizing the measure of noncompactness. These results significantly extend existing contraction principles and provide novel methods for analyzing nonlinear ...

Three-dimensional flow of Newtonian and Boger fluids in square-square contractions [PDF]
The flow of a Newtonian fluid and a Boger fluid through sudden square–square contractions was investigated experimentally aiming to characterize the flow and provide quantitative data for benchmarking in a complex three-dimensional flow.

An electrooptical muscle contraction sensor [PDF]
An electrooptical sensor for the detection of muscle contraction is described. Infrared light is injected into the muscle, the backscattering is observed, and the contraction is detected by measuring the change, that occurs during muscle contraction ...

Flow of low viscosity Boger fluids through a microfluidic hyperbolic contraction [PDF]
In this work we focus on the development of low viscosity Boger fluids and assess their elasticity analyzing the flow through a microfluidic hyperbolic contraction.

Effect of the contraction ratio upon viscoelastic fluid flow in three-dimensional square-square contractions [PDF]
In this work we investigate the laminar flow through square–square sudden contractions with various contraction ratios (CR¼2.4, 4,8and12), using a Newtonian fluid and a shear-thinning viscoelastic fluid.

Stabilization of a fractional-order chain of integrators: a contraction-based approach [PDF]
In this paper, stabilization of a chain of fractional-order integrators is attempted. The stability is proved using contraction analysis.

Some coincidence point results for T-contraction mappings on partially ordered b-metric spaces and applications to integral equations [PDF]
In this paper, we prove some fixed point results for T-contraction mappings in partially ordered b-metric spaces, that generalize the main results of [H. Huang, S.
