C-class functions on fixed and common fixed point results for cyclic mappings of Omega-distance
In this paper, we derive and formulate many fixed point results of cyclic form under contractive conditions based on implicit relations in the setting of Ω-distance. Our results improve and generalize many existing results in the literature.

Fixed point theorems for Geraghty-type mappings applied to solving nonlinear Volterra-Fredholm integral equations in modular G-metric spaces [PDF]
Purpose – The authors prove the existence and uniqueness of fixed point of mappings satisfying Geraghty-type contractions in the setting of preordered modular G-metric spaces.

In a recent paper, Khojasteh et al. presented a new collection of simulation functions, said Z-contraction. This form of contraction generalizes the Banach contraction and makes different types of nonlinear contractions.

On fixed point results for alpha-implicit contractions in quasi-metric spaces and consequences
In this paper, we prove some fixed point results involving α-implicit contractions in quasi-metric spaces. Moreover, we provide some known results on G-metric spaces.

Note on Nonlinear Contraction Semigroups [PDF]
1. Let X be a Banach space and let { F(£); 0^£< » } be a family of nonlinear operators from X into itself satisfying the following conditions: (i) T(0)=I (the identity) and T{£+7]) = T{£)T{v) for ?, t?^0. (ii) ||r(£)x-7X£);y||=g||x-3,|| for x, y EX. (iii) limj_o+ ||F(£)x — x|| =0 for xEX.

In this paper, we introduce a new structure of the generalized multi-point thermostat control model motivated by its standard model. By presenting integral solution of this boundary problem, the existence property along with the uniqueness property are ...

Factorizations and partial contraction of nonlinear systems [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce new results in the analysis of convergence of nonlinear systems. The point of view we take is the one of contraction theory and we focus in particular on convergence to smooth manifolds. A main characteristic of contraction theory is that it does not require nor use any knowledge about the asymptotic trajectory of the system.

Nonlinear contractions involving simulation functions in a metric space with a partial order [PDF]
Very recently, Khojasteh, Shukla and Radenovic [F. Khojasteh, S. Shukla, S. Radenovic, Filomat, 29 (2015), 1189-1194] introduced the notion of Z-contraction, that is, a nonlinear contraction involving a new class of mappings namely simulation functions ...

On weakly nonlinear contractions [PDF]
The author generalizes some known fixed point theorems to cone-valued metric spaces. The main theorem reads as follows: Theorem. Let \((X,d)\) be a complete, convex, \(K\)-metric space (where \(K\) denotes a strongly normed cone in a reflexive Banach space \(E\)) and \(S\) a non-empty closed subset of \(X\) such that for each \(x\in S\), there exists ...

Fixed points of dynamic processes of set-valued F-contractions and application to functional equations [PDF]
The article is a continuation of the investigations concerning F-contractions which have been recently introduced in [Wardowski in Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2012:94,2012]. The authors extend the concept of F-contractive mappings to the case of nonlinear F-
