Modulating Two‐Photon Absorption in a Pyrene‐Based MOF Series: An In‐Depth Investigation of Structure–Property Relationships

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates H4TBAPy‐based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) ‐ NU‐1000, NU‐901, SrTBAPy, and BaTBAPy ‐ for multiphoton absorption (MPA) performance. It observes topology‐dependent variations in the 2PA cross‐section, with BaTBAPy exhibiting the highest activity.

Early Fault Detection and Operator-Based MIMO Fault-Tolerant Temperature Control of Microreactor

open access: yesApplied Sciences
A microreactor is a chemical reaction device that mixes liquids in a very narrow channel and continuously generates reactions. They are attracting attention as next-generation chemical reaction devices because of their ability to achieve small-scale and ...

Double Helical Plasmonic Antennas

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Plasmonic double helical antennas funnel circularly polarized light to the nanoscale, offering strong chiroptical interaction and directional light emission. Extending a single helix design tool, this study combines numerical modeling with experimental validation, revealing large, broadband dissymmetry factors in the visible range.

Nonlinear Control Systems Simulation Using Spreadsheets

open access: yesSpreadsheets in Education, 2004
In this paper, a method for simulating nonlinear control systems using spreadsheets is presented. Various nonlinear blocks are simulated using graphics and cell formulas, and are generated by clicking on specially developed toolbar buttons.

Positive‐Tone Nanolithography of Antimony Trisulfide with Femtosecond Laser Wet‐Etching

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A butyldithiocarbamic acid (BDCA) etchant is used to fabricate various micro‐ and nanoscale structures on amorphous antimony trisulfide (a‐Sb2S3) thin film via femtosecond laser etching. Numerical analysis and experimental results elucidate the patterning mechanism on gold (reflective) and quartz (transmissive) substrates.
