Interaction of exact gravitational waves with matter

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
We consider interactions of exact (i.e., solutions of full nonlinear field equations) gravitational waves with matter by using the Einstein-Boltzmann equation.

Gauge invariant canonical symplectic algorithms for real-time lattice strong-field quantum electrodynamics

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
A class of high-order canonical symplectic structure-preserving geometric algorithms are developed for high-quality simulations of the quantized Dirac-Maxwell theory based strong-field quantum electrodynamics (SFQED) and relativistic quantum plasmas (RQP)

Ultrabroadband Excitation of Hot Carriers in Plasmonic Nanorods Revealed by Two‐Dimensional Electronic Spectroscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
This work dissects the ultrafast response of polydisperse plasmonic nanorods using two‐dimensional electronic spectroscopy, uniquely combining temporal and spectral resolution. Our ultrabroadband pulses cover both transverse and longitudinal nanorods’ resonances, revealing sub‐200‐fs dynamics and distinct broadening mechanisms.

Dirac Spinor Waves and Solitons in Anisotropic Taub-NUT Spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
We apply a new general method of anholonomic frames with associated nonlinear connection structure to construct new classes of exact solutions of Einstein-Dirac equations in five dimensional (5D)gravity.

Nonlinear Relativistic and Quantum Equations with a Common Type of Solution

open access: yes, 2011
Generalizations of the three main equations of quantum physics, namely, the Schr\"odinger, Klein-Gordon, and Dirac equations, are proposed. Nonlinear terms, characterized by exponents depending on an index $q$, are considered in such a way that the ...

Scalable, Microwave‐Enabled Synthesis of Ternary WxTi1‐xO2 and Heterostructured TiO2‐WO3‐x Colloidal Nanocrystals: Carrier Dynamics and Photocatalytic Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Two microwave‐assisted synthetic methods, specifically a one‐pot and a seeded‐growth approach, are developed within a hydroalcoholic solution for the growth of single‐phase ternary WxTi1‐xO2 and heterostructured TiO2‐WO3‐x colloidal nanocrystals. Both types of nanocrystals show significant photocatalytic activity for 4‐methoxybenzyl alcohol oxidation ...

The electromagnetic field’s quantum nature and spin

open access: yesAIP Advances
The interaction of the electron (charge) with the electromagnetic field is investigated using the minimum coupling prescription, in which the electron’s spin appears in the Dirac and Pauli–Schrödinger equations.

Semiclassical Asymptotics for the Maxwell - Dirac System

open access: yes, 2003
We study the coupled system of Maxwell and Dirac equations from a semiclassical point of view. A rigorous nonlinear WKB-analysis, locally in time, for solutions of (critical) order $O(\sqrt{\epsilon})$ is performed, where the small semiclassical ...

POSS Polyimide Composite Sealed Triple‐Junction GaAs Thin‐Film Solar Cell for Long‐Term Low Earth Orbit Serve

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ultrathin oxide layer and ultraviolet absorbent are introduced into polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) polyimide to improve the transmittance conservation and realize near zero mass loss against ultraviolet and atomic oxygen exposures. The POSS polyimide composite sealed triple‐junction GaAs thin‐film solar cell exhibits enhanced endurance of ...

Modeling a Quantum Hall System via Elliptic Equations

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2009
Quantum Hall systems are a suitable theme for a case study in the general area of nanotechnology. In particular, it is a good framework to search for universal principles relevant to nanosystem modeling and nanosystem-specific signal processing. Recently,
