4D Mapping of ZIF Biocomposites for High Protein Loading and Tunable Release Profiles

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Systematic four‐dimensional mapping of zeolitic imidazolate framework biocomposites reveals how precursor ratios, total concentration, and washing define crystalline phase, protein loading, and release kinetics. This comprehensive study identifies conditions yielding record loading (∼85%) and precise phase–property correlations.

Finite element for rotor/stator interactive forces in general engine dynamic simulation. Part 1: Development of bearing damper element [PDF]

open access: yes
A general purpose squeeze-film damper interactive force element was developed, coded into a software package (module) and debugged. This software package was applied to nonliner dynamic analyses of some simple rotor systems.

Three‐dimensional Antimony Sulfide Based Flat Optics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents the development of a grayscale electron beam lithography (g‐EBL) method for fabricating antimony trisulfide (Sb2S3) nanostructures with customizable 3D profiles. The refractive index of g‐EBL patterned Sb2S3 is determined based on the synergy of genetic algorithm and transfer matrix method.

Nonlinear dynamics analysis of shaft crack

open access: yesAdvances in Engineering Research Possibilities and Challenges
Considering the “breathing” phenomenon of cracks in a rotor system as the shaft rotates, this study derives the true breathing formula for shaft cracks, adopts more realistic flexural and torsional stiffnesses of the cracked shaft segments, and establishes a time-varying stiffness matrix for the cracked shaft.

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

Static and dynamic stability analysis of the space shuttle vehicle-orbiter [PDF]

open access: yes
The longitudinal static and dynamic stability of a Space Shuttle Vehicle-Orbiter (SSV Orbiter) model is analyzed using the FLEXSTAB computer program. Nonlinear effects are accounted for by application of a correction technique in the FLEXSTAB system; the
