Surface‐Capped Protein Nanoparticles for Nonviral Gene Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Developing simple, safe, and efficient nonviral delivery systems remains a significant challenge in bioengineering. Nanoparticles offer promising gene delivery capabilities with reduced toxicity; however, long‐standing challenges related to effective plasmid encapsulation and delivery exist.

Analog Control of Reconfigurable GHz Resonances from Chiral Spin Texture Ensembles

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Tunable microwave components ‐ essential for wireless technology ‐ typically require costly, customized nanofabrication. We show that ambient spin texture ensembles (e.g., magnetic skyrmions) in chiral multilayer films can enable reconfigurable microwave resonators.

Nonlinear Dynamics

2023
Many nonlinear systems around us can generate a very complex and counter-intuitive dynamics that contrasts with their simplicity, but their understanding requires concepts that are outside the basic training of most science students. This textbook, which is the fruit of graduate courses that the authors have taught at their respective universities ...

Nonlinear Dynamics

2001
A systematic and comprehensive introduction to the study of nonlinear dynamical systems, in both discrete and continuous time, for nonmathematical students and researchers working in applied fields. An understanding of linear systems and the classical theory of stability are essential although basic reviews of the relevant material are provided ...

Nonlinear Firm Dynamics

Staff Reports (Federal Reserve Bank of New York)
This paper presents empirical evidence on the nature of idiosyncratic shocks to firms and discusses its role for firm behavior and aggregate fluctuations. We document that firm-level sales and productivity are hit by heavy-tailed shocks and follow a nonlinear stochastic process, thus departing from the canonical linear.
