Improving the Robustness of Visual Teach‐and‐Repeat Navigation Using Drift Error Correction and Event‐Based Vision for Low‐Light Environments

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Visual teach‐and‐repeat (VTR) navigation allows robots to learn and follow routes without building a full metric map. We show that navigation accuracy for VTR can be improved by integrating a topological map with error‐drift correction based on stereo vision.

Nonlinear electric conductivity and thermal conductivity of WS2/EPDM field grading materials

Journal of Applied Physics, 2017
In this work, composites with different flake-like WS2 filler contents were prepared, using ethylene propylene diene monomer as matrix. The nonlinear electric conductivity of composites at 25, 50, and 80 °C was measured, and the mechanisms were analyzed.

Electrically Switchable Longitudinal Nonlinear Conductivity in Magnetic Semiconductors

Physical Review Letters
Writing data by electric field (as opposed to electric current) offers promises for energy efficient memory devices. While this data writing scheme is enabled by the magnetoelectric effect, the narrow spectrum of room-temperature magnetoelectrics hinders the design of practical magnetoelectric memories, and the exploration of other mechanisms toward ...
