Analysis of Nonlinear Conductivity Coating used to Improve Electric Field Distribution in Medium Voltage Power Module

European Conference on Cognitive Ergonomics, 2022
By establishing a finite element simulation model in COMSOL, the electric field distribution of a 15kV power module is analyzed, and the local maximum electric field is reduced by using nonlinear conductivity materials.

Improvement of Nonlinear Conductivity and Flashover Characteristics of SiC/LDPE Composite via the DC Electric Field Assist

IEEE Transactions on Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation
Nonlinear conductivity characteristic of the nonlinear resistive field grading material is affected by the filler distribution. The dc electric field assist is capable of regulating the filler distribution, but it is rarely used in the development of the

Effects of Matrix Viscosity on Nonlinear Conductivity of Electric-Field-Assisted SiC/LDPE Composites

IEEE Transactions on Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation
Electric field assist is helpful for the improvement of the filler distribution in the polymer matrix and for the enhancement of the nonlinear conductivity characteristics of nonlinear resistive field grading composites.

Nonlinear electrical conductivity in hydrogen plasma

Physics of Fluids B: Plasma Physics, 1993
Employing the Zubarev method for the derivation of a nonequilibrium statistical operator, Vlasov–Uehling–Uhlenbeck quantum kinetic equations are derived for the distribution functions of clusters with arbitrary mass number. Considering a partially ionized hydrogen plasma, the electronic distribution function is determined numerically for the ...

Nonlinear electrical conductivity in heterogeneous media

Proceedings of the Royal Society of London. Series A: Mathematical, Physical and Engineering Sciences, 1997
Let a spatial domain \(V\) be divided into domains \(V_r\) \((r=1,2, \dots, N)\), and let \(f_r\) be the characteristic function of the set \(V_r\). The authors consider a composite material derived by the nonlinear equations \(\text{div} {\mathbf J} =0\), \({\mathbf J}= {\partial \over \partial {\mathbf E}} (\sum^N_{r=1} f_r({\mathbf x}) f_r ({\mathbf

Electrical Conductivity Relaxation in the Nonlinear Regime

Journal of The Electrochemical Society, 2017
Electrical Conductivity Relaxation (ECR) is an experimental procedure used to assess the chemical diffusion and reaction coefficients (i.e. D-chem and k(chem)) of mixed ionic electronic conductors (MIECs). The analytical model usually employed to fit the ECR data is based on linear physics.

Kinetic theory of nonlinear electrical conductivity

Annals of Physics, 1968
Abstract The nature of the corrections to Ohm's law in the weak field domain is investigated. Exact solutions of kinetic equations with separable collision terms are obtained. The distribution function is shown to have an essential singularity in several regions of velocity space as the applied field tends to zero.

Odd Nonlinear Conductivity under Spatial Inversion in Chiral Tellurium.

Physical Review Letters, 2023
Electrical transport in noncentrosymmetric materials departs from the well-established phenomenological Ohm's law. Instead of a linear relation between current and electric field, a nonlinear conductivity emerges along specific crystallographic ...
