Nonlinear electric conductivity of point contacts in the multiphonon generation regime
Soviet Journal of Low Temperature Physics, 1988The electron-phonon relaxation of the transport current in point contacts of conductors with a large value of the parameter eV/εF is studied theoretically (here, eV is the bias voltage at the contact, and εf is the Fermi energy of the current carriers ...

Nonlinear electrical conductivity for a strongly coupled plasma
The Physics of Fluids, 1987A nonlinear analysis of electrical conductivity in a plasma is given, stemming from the Uehling–Uhlenbeck equation. Anisotropy due to an applied electric field is incorporated through a Legendre polynomial expansion of the distribution function. The plasma is comprised of ions, electrons, and a neutral component.

Preserved Symmetries in Nonlinear Electric Conduction
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2005For the general case of a mesoscopic, two‐terminal device with no geometrical symmetry, conductance symmetries break down in the non‐linear regime. Using basic symmetry arguments, we predict and experimentally confirm a set of symmetry relations that are preserved for electric conductors with respect to bias voltage, V, and B in the non‐linear regime.
