Research on Evaporation Characteristics and Safe Storage Duration of Marine Liquid Hydrogen Storage Tanks Under the Coupling Effect of Heat Leakage and Sloshing

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Liquid hydrogen, a zero‐carbon and high–energy‐density fuel, is a promising option for future oceangoing vessels. During maritime transportation, onboard cryogenic tanks are exposed to ambient heat leakage and ship‐induced roll motion, which can trigger sloshing and fundamentally modify the coupled thermo‐fluid processes governing boil‐off and

A double inverse problem for Fredholm integro-differential equation of elliptic type

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2014
In this paper the double inverse problem for partial differential equations is considered. The method of studying the one value solvability of the double inverse problem for a Fredholm integro-differential equation of elliptic type with degenerate kernel

Existence result for differential inclusion with p(x)-Laplacian [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In this paper we study the nonlinear elliptic problem with p(x)-Laplacian (hemivariational inequality). We prove the existence of a nontrivial solution.

Metasurfaces and Metadevices for Topological Electromagnetic Waves

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
Optical topologies refer to diverse topological localized structures made by diverse parameters of light fields, such as vortices, skyrmions, and hopfions. This article navigates a direction of metasurface‐based integrated devices for generation, manipulation and detection of novel topologies of light, which would be a rapidly growing interdisciplinary

An optimization problem for some nonlinear elliptic equation

open access: yesKuwait Journal of Science, 2016
In this paper we prove existence and uniqueness of the optimal solution for anoptimization problem related to a nonlinear elliptic equation. We use the concepttangent cones to derive the optimality condition satisfied by optimal solution.

Mixed problems for degenerate abstract parabolic equations and applications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Degenerate abstract parabolic equations with variable coefficients are studied. Here the boundary conditions are nonlocal. The maximal regularity properties of solutions for elliptic and parabolic problems and Strichartz type estimates in mixed $L_{p ...

Self‐Similar Blowup for the Cubic Schrödinger Equation

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We give a rigorous proof for the existence of a finite‐energy, self‐similar solution to the focusing cubic Schrödinger equation in three spatial dimensions. The proof is computer‐assisted and relies on a fixed point argument that shows the existence of a solution in the vicinity of a numerically constructed approximation.

An incorrectly posed problem for nonlinear elliptic equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2009
We study properties of solutions to non-linear elliptic problems involving the Laplace operator on the unit sphere. In particular, we show that solutions do not depend continuously on the initial data.

On optimal control problem for nonlinear elliptic equation with variable p(x)-Laplacian

open access: yesVìsnik Dnìpropetrovsʹkogo Unìversitetu: Serìâ Modelûvannâ, 2016
An optimal control problem for the Dirichlet boundary value problem for the nonlinear elliptic equation with p(x)-Laplacian is considered. It is shown that this problem has at least one solution with respect to certain set of admissible pairs.

Invariant Measure and Universality of the 2D Yang–Mills Langevin Dynamic

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We prove that the Yang–Mills (YM) measure for the trivial principal bundle over the two‐dimensional torus, with any connected, compact structure group, is invariant for the associated renormalised Langevin dynamic. Our argument relies on a combination of regularity structures, lattice gauge‐fixing and Bourgain's method for invariant measures ...
