The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

In this paper, we utilize the modified variational iteration method introduced by Abassy et al. for obtaining the analytical approximate solutions of the nonlinear Fornberg–Whitham equation and modified nonlinear Fornberg–Whitham equation.

A Nonlinear Wave Equation with Jumping Nonlinearity
The authors study multiplicity of solutions \(u(x,t)\) for a piecewise linear perturbation of the one-dimensional wave operator \(u_{tt}-u_{xx}\) under Dirichlet boundary condition on the interval \((-{\pi\over 2}, {\pi\over 2})\) and periodic condition on \(t\), that is \[ \begin{cases} u_{tt}-u_{xx}+g (u)=f(x,t) \text{ in }\left(-{\pi\over 2}, {\pi ...

Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.

Two-point method for solving nonlinear equation with nondifferentiable operator (in Ukrainian) [PDF]
In the paper we study a combined differential-difference method for solving nonlinear equations with non-differentiable operator. The semilocal convergence of the method is investigated and the order of convergence is established.

Asymptotic Integration of Fractional Differential Equations with Integrodifferential Right-Hand Side
In this paper we deal with the problem of asymptotic integration of a class of fractional differential equations of the Caputo type. The left-hand side of such type of equation is the Caputo derivative of the fractional order r ∈ (n − 1, n) of the ...

Solitary-wave solutions of the Degasperis-Procesi equation by means of the homotopy analysis method [PDF]
The homotopy analysis method is applied to the Degasperis-Procesi equation in order to find analytic approximations to the known exact solitary-wave solutions for the solitary peakon wave and the family of solitary smooth-hump waves.

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Local convergence of some high order iterative methods based on the decomposition technique using only the first derivative [PDF]
We present a local convergence analysis of some high order iterative methods based on the decomposition technique using only the first derivative for solving equations in order to approximate a solution of a nonlinear equation.
