A boundary value problem in the hyperbolic space

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 1999
We consider a nonlinear problem for the mean curvature equation in the hyperbolic space with a Dirichlet boundary data g. We find solutions in a Sobolev space under appropriate conditions on g.

Field‐Free Spin‐Splitting‐Torque Driven Stochastic Neuron Mimicking the Neuromorphic Imagination for High‐Performance Recognition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The human brain's imagination, which enables autonomous driving hazard avoidance by completing missing visual information, relies on Gaussian‐stochastic neuron. We report the altermagnetic RuO2 spintronic neurons integrating field‐free switching and intrinsic Gaussian stochasticity, building an all‐spin ANN for high‐quality image repairing and high ...

Noninvasive Characterization of Tumor Heterogeneity in HNSCC: From Clinical Utility to Biological Correlates

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study establishes a CT‐based radiomics framework to quantify intratumoral heterogeneity (ITH) in HNSCC. Using unsupervised clustering, tumor ROIs and VOIs are analyzed to calculate 2D/3D ITH scores. The score shows strong predictive value for prognosis and immunotherapy response, and is associated with tumor metabolism and immune microenvironment,

On the structure and lifespan of smooth solutions for the two-dimensional hyperbolic geometric flow equation

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis
In this article, we investigate the initial value problem for the hyperbolic geometric flow equation, which is derived from hyperbolic geometric flow for Riemannian metric.

Intramolecular Interactions between Folded and Disordered Regions Shape Ubiquilin Structure and Function

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ubiquilin (UBQLN), like many other human proteins, contains both well‐folded and disordered regions. Here, we show that intramolecular interactions between disordered regions and folded domains modulate between open and closed topologies of UBQLN proteins, altering their structure and function.

Exact solutions of (3 + 1)-dimensional generalized KP equation arising in physics

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2017
In this work, we have obtained some exact solutions to (3 + 1)-dimensional generalized KP Equation. The improved tanϕ(ξ)2-expansion method has been introduced to construct the exact solutions of nonlinear evolution equations.

Continuity equations and ODE flows with non-smooth velocity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In this paper we review many aspects of the well-posedness theory for the Cauchy problem for the continuity and transport equations and for the ordinary differential equation (ODE). In this framework, we deal with velocity fields that are not smooth, but

Physics‐Informed Neural Network‐Enabled Forward Prediction and Inverse Design of Ring Origami

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents a KRT‐PINN framework that integrates Kirchhoff rod theory with physics‐informed neural networks for the forward prediction and inverse design of ring origami consisting of closed‐loop rods. The framework predicts stable states of segmented rings with prescribed natural‐curvature profiles and determines the natural‐curvature profiles ...

Soliton solutions to the time-dependent coupled KdV–Burgers’ equation

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2019
In this article, the authors apply the Lie symmetry approach and the modified (G′/G) $( G'/G )$-expansion method for seeking the solutions of time-dependent coupled KdV–Burgers equation.

Integrable viscous conservation laws

open access: yes, 2015
We propose an extension of the Dubrovin-Zhang perturbative approach to the study of normal forms for non-Hamiltonian integrable scalar conservation laws. The explicit computation of the first few corrections leads to the conjecture that such normal forms
