Electro‐Steric Ion Confinement in Polyelectrolyte Networks for Robust Nonvolatile Artificial Synapse
Polyelectrolyte stoichiometry governs ion transport and retention in electrolyte‐gated synaptic transistors. A PSS‐rich network creates electro‐steric ion confinement that suppresses ion back‐diffusion and stabilizes channel doping, enabling robust nonvolatile synaptic memory, linear weight updates, and low‐energy operation.

Metasurfaces and other structured photonic environments can dramatically modify the absorption and/or light emission of semiconductors. However, the consequences of these changes on the temperature of the system are not well understood. The authors address this problem for colloidal nanocrystals and leverage their findings to convert light into ...

On a Special Class of Nonlinear Integral Equations
The author considers nonlinear integral equations not of the standard type \[ \varphi \bigl( t,x(t) \bigr) + \int^1_0 \psi \bigl( t,s,x(t), x(s) \bigr) ds = 0 \quad \text{for } t \in [0,1] \] with a certain monotonicity in the argument \(y = x(t)\) and a certain compactness in the argument \(x = x(s)\).
