Uniformly Valid Asymptotics for Carrier’s Mathematical Model of String Oscillations

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis, 2017
In the paper, an asymptotic analysis of G.F. Carrier’s mathematical model of string oscillation is presented. The model consists of a system of two nonlinear second order partial differential equations and periodic initial conditions.

Explicit Exact Solutions of the (2+1)-Dimensional Integro-Differential Jaulent–Miodek Evolution Equation Using the Reliable Methods

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2020
In this article, we utilize the G′/G2-expansion method and the Jacobi elliptic equation method to analytically solve the (2 + 1)-dimensional integro-differential Jaulent–Miodek equation for exact solutions.

A Peridynamic Framework for Modeling Progressive Failure in Porous Sandstone Indentation

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical and Analytical Methods in Geomechanics, Volume 50, Issue 6, Page 2727-2743, 25 April 2026.
ABSTRACT A state‐based peridynamic model is proposed to simulate the failure mechanisms in porous rocks, using Bentheim sandstone as a specific example. Experimental observations reveal a transition from brittle to ductile failure under increasing triaxial compression. This behavior is attributed to pore compaction. The peridynamic model is enhanced to

Behavioral Cobweb Dynamics With Anticipatory Inventory and Ulam Stability: An Integro‐Differential Approach

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 49, Issue 4, Page 2463-2473, 15 March 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper proposes a novel extension of the classical cobweb price model by incorporating behavioral inventory responses through an anticipatory mini‐storage mechanism. In many real‐world commodity markets, persistent price oscillations occur even when classical stability conditions are theoretically satisfied, an inconsistency traditional ...

Stochastic partial differential and integro-differential equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
In this work we present some new results concerning stochastic partial differential and integro-differential equations (SPDEs and SPIDEs) that appear in non-linear filtering.

Solution of nonlinear problems by a new analytical technique using Daftardar-Gejji and Jafari polynomials

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2019
This article shows the solution of nonlinear differential equations by a new analytical technique called modified optimal homotopy perturbation method. Daftardar-Gejji and Jafari polynomials are used in the proposed method for the expansion of nonlinear ...

Coupling Enhancement and Symmetrization in Dissipative Optomechanical Systems

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 538, Issue 3, March 2026.
A practical circuit‐QED scheme with dual coherent laser driving and enhanced cross‐Kerr nonlinearity is presented to achieve ultrastrong optomechanical coupling in the few‐photon regime. A symmetric optomechanical dynamical framework is further established to enable a systematic classification of different coupling regimes.

Adaptive Control for Multi-Agent Systems Governed by Fractional-Order Space-Varying Partial Integro-Differential Equations

open access: yesMathematics
This paper investigates a class of multi-agent systems (MASs) governed by nonlinear fractional-order space-varying partial integro-differential equations (SVPIDEs), which incorporate both nonlinear state terms and integro terms.

Analysis and numerical solution of a non-standard non-linear integro-differential boundary value problem [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The aim of this thesis is the analytical study and the development of a numerical method to solve a non-linear, integro-differential boundary value problem on the half line which is representative of a class of non-standard integral equations where the ...

HYBRIDIZATION OF SHEHU TRANSFORM AND VARIATIONAL ITERATION METHOD FOR SOLUTION OF FRACTIONAL ORDER PARTIAL VOLTERRA INTEGRO-DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

open access: yesAcademy Journal of Science and Engineering
This paper presents a method of solution to a class of fractional order Volterra integro-   differential equations which are at the same time nonlinear. To effectively model some physical phenomena in mathematical physics, both integral and differential ...
