Maillet type theorem for singular first order nonlinear partial differential equations of totally characteristic type. Part II [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2015
In this paper, we study the following nonlinear first order partial differential equation: \[f(t,x,u,\partial_t u,\partial_x u)=0\quad\text{with}\quad u(0,x)\equiv 0.\] The purpose of this paper is to determine the estimate of Gevrey order under the ...

An Adaptive Human Pilot Model With Reaction Time Delay for Enhanced Adaptive Control in Piloted Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
This work introduces an adaptive human pilot model that captures pilot time‐delay effects in adaptive control systems. The model enables the prediction of pilot–controller interactions, facilitating safer integration and improved design of adaptive controllers for piloted applications.

Differential transform method for conformable fractional partial differential equations [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Numerical Analysis and Optimization, 2019
We expand a new generalization of the two-dimensional differential trans form method. The new generalization is based on the two-dimensional differential transform method, fractional power series expansions, and conformable fractional derivative.

Enhancing Corrosion Resistance and Mechanical Strength of 3D‐Printed Iron Polylactic Acid for Marine Applications via Laser Surface Texturing

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Laser surface texturing significantly improves the corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of 3D‐printed iron polylactic acid (Ir‐PLA) for marine applications. Optimal laser parameters reduce corrosion by 80% and enhance tensile strength by 25% and ductility by 15%.

Theory of Nonlinear Vibrations for Antisymmetric Cross-Ply Bistable Laminated Shells

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2021
In this paper, on the basis of taking the von Karman nonlinear factors into consideration, the constitutive equation of the antisymmetric cross-ply laminated composite was used to calculate the internal force and internal moment of the bistable structure,

On a high-dimensional nonlinear stochastic partial differential equation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper we investigate a nonlinear stochastic partial differential equation (spde in short) perturbed by a space-correlated Gaussian noise in arbitrary dimension $d\geq1$, with a non-Lipschitz coefficient noisy term.

Characterization of Defect Distribution in an Additively Manufactured AlSi10Mg as a Function of Processing Parameters and Correlations with Extreme Value Statistics

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

An inverse problem for a nonlinear Fredholm integro-differential equation of fourth order with degenerate kernel

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2015
We consider the questions of one value solvability of the inverse problem for a nonlinear partial Fredholm type integro-differential equation of the fourth order with degenerate kernel. The method of degenerate kernel is developed for the case of inverse

Permeability Models for Magma Flow through the Earth's Mantle: A Lie Group Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2013
The migration of melt through the mantle of the Earth is governed by a third-order nonlinear partial differential equation for the voidage or volume fraction of melt.
